Arrived in Taipei! -By Ryanne Mills

After a 13 hour flight from San Francisco, we arrived in Taiwan at around 6:30 PM local time. The time difference between Taiwan and the East Coast of America is 12 hours, and while we all were a little tired, we also were very excited to explore a new place.

After picking up our luggage, we met with James Yen, Ms. Yen’s brother and our guide for Taiwan. While waiting for the bus to take us to the city, we chose our dinner meals from a restaurant called  Mosi Burger. Their most famous dish was the rice burger, but other options like BBQ chicken sandwiches or shrimp burgers were also available. We finally got to our hotel and everyone was eager to go to their rooms to eat, shower, and sleep.

All in all, it was a great first few hours in Taiwan, and we all are looking forward to the next ten days here.
